Living for yourself after being pushed down by society is challenging. Trying to fit in to one box and pushing yourself to the extremes should not be seen as acceptable. The key things to happiness and confidence is not peer pressure or familiarity in fakeness.

This statement can be seen as ineffective and uninspiring to those who have tried to fit into the certain type of stereotype. As young women, trying to understand from a statement with roots of ignorance is not beneficial, but damaging to a young girls' self esteem.
Whether you are starting to understand and learn more about yourself, having grace and compassion for yourself through this journey is equally as important. Although some may have a more 'stubborn' and direct mindset, being gentle is also an option.
Consistency is the key!
Whilst understanding that confidence isn't one simple direction, being consistent with kindness, structure and continuing with the basics of self discipline is crucial to understanding the key of confidence.
Reopening chapters for further healing is the beginning of understanding insecurities. The next steps to your journey include self acceptance, being ok with misunderstandings and most importantly, self respect.
Self-care & its healing factors:
Whilst self-care is often denied and ignored by society, whether that would be because of work, school or having a rich social life - holding space for some time for yourself is also necessary.
Some factors for a more beneficial self-care routine may seem boring, but they sure are affective!
Getting 8 hours or more of sleep
Helps aid to better performance, critical thinking, making you less likely to gain excessive anxiety throughout the day.
Eating consistent healthy food
Boring! But also good for your health, your gut controls crucial things that help cleanse your body, take care of it by eating healthy and consistently
Avoid restrictions but have a balance
Although having some routine in your day to day life is important - having a restrictive daily routine can promote more harm than good, ground yourself in a safe pattern.
Reflecting and feeling your emotions
Its essential for a better confidence and well-being to feel your emotions, grounding yourself when going through ups and downs.
Avoid excessive screen time
Avoiding an excessive screen time allows the mind to reflect on the day and the content it is processing throughout your daily routine.
